Major Workbench Update: Workbench Embedding Integrations, New Payment Optioons at Checkout, and Student Managment Updates

This month, we’re thrilled to roll out a series of updates that will take the user experience for students, instructors, and admins to the next level! One of the updates we’re most excited about is with our integrations—Workbench can now effortlessly embed directly into your website. Students can now checkout with a variety of different payment options including pay-over-time. We’ve also made managing student orders a breeze, making refunds and cancellations are now faster and easier than ever before. Plus, admins can now effortlessly add new students manually, giving you more control and flexibility than ever. It’s all about streamlining your workflow and making your experience smoother and more efficient!


1. Integrations – Embed Workbench Booking Pages Right on Your Site!

  • Course Listings – With Workbench, you can now embed your course booking pages directly on your website. This means students can browse and book courses without being redirected to Workbench’s site. This seamless experience will help boost both conversion and retention as students explore your offerings!
  • Easy to manage – Setting up embedded checkout is a breeze, even with minimal technical expertise. Just make sure HTTPS/TLS is enabled on your site for the embedded checkout to function properly.

This update prioritizes customer conversion rate and a better experience for students finding your courses through your website.

2. Student Checkout – More Payment Options Than Ever!

  • Payment Options – Along with credit and debit card payments, students can now pay for courses using Affirm, Cash App Pay, Klarna, and Amazon Pay. These additional options offer the flexibility to pay over time, boosting conversion rates—especially for higher-priced courses.

3. Refund Management – Simplified and Streamlined!

We’re constantly working to make the Workbench admin interface more intuitive and efficient, and this latest update is a big leap forward! We know that sometimes students need to cancel orders, so we’ve made the refund process quicker and easier than ever.

  • Orders Tab – Finding student orders is now a breeze! Quickly search and access any order in the admin panel. You can easily select a refund reason and even apply a refund fee if needed. Plus, once the refund is processed, the student will receive an immediate email confirmation—no hassle, just seamless communication.

This update is all about giving you more control, saving time, and improving your ability to manage student orders with ease!

4. Admin Self-Management

We’re always focused on helping admins spend less time on course logistics, but we understand there are moments when you need to manually add a student to your books. With this update, we’ve made it quick and simple!

  • Student Tab – Managing students just got even easier! In the admin pannel’s Student section, you can now manually add students in a flash. All you need is their name and email address. Once added, the student will automatically receive an invite in their inbox to get started.

This update puts more control in your hands, giving you the flexibility to manage your student base effortlessly!
