Workbench’s Mailchimp integration allows you to connect your account to Mailchimp’s email and marketing platform.

Note

The Mailchimp integration is a one-way sync, meaning Workbench sends data to Mailchimp but Mailchimp does not send data back to Workbench.

How it works

Our Mailchimp integration lets you send new customers to a list in Mailchimp.

The integration runs in the background and will add all new customers to your chosen Mailchimp Audience automatically.

This integration is a great way of using Mailchimp to send campaigns and automated email sequences to your Workbench customers.

Currently, the integration is a one-way sync, meaning Workbench sends data to Mailchimp but Mailchimp does not send data back to Workbench.

When Workbench adds a customer in Mailchimp the following data is sent:

  • Email address

The customer is also set to “Subscribed”.

Any existing customers in Workbench when you set up the integration will not be sent to Mailchimp. The sync will only trigger for new customers added after you create the integration.

Set up a Mailchimp integration

Step 1: Connect your Mailchimp account

Go to Settings » Integrations in your Workbench account and click the “Mailchimp Settings” button.
